Krysia Carter-Giez

Krysia Carter-Giez, an Emmy award-winning filmmaker, has been documenting the work of Huts For Vets for the last seven years.

Her father was a World War 2 Veteran, who fought with the British Army in the Middle East and Italy. A native of the UK, Krysia worked for the BBC and many independent film companies. In the US, she has worked for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, PBS, and National Geographic. Her work has been shown at Cannes and numerous film festivals worldwide. Most recently, she was awarded Best Editing of a Documentary Short at the 2021 Barcelona International Film Festival.
