Writer, Director, Composer: Kyle Solomon

A missed call. A tired heart. Another earth-shattering day of being Black in America. “THE VOICEMAIL” explores the everyday traumas experienced by Black people in America, told from the perspective of a son who takes heed of his mother’s warning.

About the Director:

Kyle Solomon is a musical artist and film composer, whose DIY attitude towards scoring film has lead him to write, direct, and score two short films of his own (“THE VOICEMAIL” and “HUSH-HUSH” respectively), as well as provide film music for several other independent filmmakers. His main focus as a film composer is creating electronic/guitar-based music, that helps move a director’s vision forward.
